Here are the steps to format memory card using Nokia 5800. You do not need to take out the memory card, or connect the phone to your PC.
- Press the white menu button.
- Select “Applications”.
- Select “File mgr.”.
- Double-click on “E: Memory Card” (Figure 1).

- Select “Memory Card Options” and then “Format” (Figure 2).
