Disable “Desktop Cleanup Wizard” in Windows XP

How to disable “Desktop Cleanup Wizard” in Windows XP.

  1. Right click on the desktop, and choose Properties.
  2. Click “Customize Desktop” button on the “Desktop” tab.
  3. Under the General tab, uncheck “Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard every 60 days” selection, in the “Desktop cleanup” section. Click OK.
